Really nice interior. Cozy nice rooms. There is no AC in the room, or at least it is not working as it should. It was hard to sleep, because the room was too "hot". Also one minus, there was no shampoo or even shower gel in the bathroom. …

Beautiful, very family friendly hotel, with staff that went the extra mile to accommodate our dietary requirements (celiac) and to help us charge our electric car for free. The setting is stunning, with a gorgeous restaurant terrace overlooking a lovely pond, complete with a frog chorus. The lake, which is about 200m from the hotel, is also a delight with a gorgeous medieval bridge in the background. We particularly appreciated having a room that could easily and comfortably accommodate a family of 5. Highly recommended.

We visited twice. The atmosphere was adequate in the back room but nicer in the dining room. Perhaps nice to eat outside. Decent menu choices. Dinner was very good. Not as posh as I'd feared. Lovely service with good humour. Most food was enjoyed, lots. The salad was particularly enjoyed

Hotel: considering the location of the hotel I would have expected to have more facilities in the room, microwave, wine glasses etc. There is a fridge, but it really doesn't work very well and chills things very poorly, plus it's tiny (family of 4). For a weekend, maybe OK, any longer, not suitable. Restaurant: the food is of a good standard, well presented, very good waiters/waitresses. But again, staying longer periods and the limited menu, it feels like dining there is only possible twice before having to order the same dishes again.
